CUNY/SUNY Transfer Student Campus Visit and Q&A with Current Students

Current CUNY and SUNY students are invited to this special on-campus event, with the opportunity to  learn more about academics and student life at School of General Studies (GS) and participate in a Q&A session with a panel of current Columbia students who transferred from CUNY and SUNY community colleges. Refreshments will be served and there will be Columbia t-shirts given away.

Doors open at 2 p.m. at the Italian Academy (Casa Italiana) at 1161 Amsterdam Avenue.

Following the presentation, attendees may join a student-led tour of the Columbia's historic Morningside campus at 4 p.m.

About GS
The School of General Studies (GS) is the undergraduate college at Columbia University specifically dedicated to students taking a nontraditional path to a traditional Ivy League education.

GS students include those who have interrupted their educations since high school for at least one academic year, are pursuing a second bachelor's degree, or who have compelling personal or professional reasons to attend college on a part-time basis.
